Separate return and reimbursement
Returns are physical products sent back by customers. Reimbursements are money flows. ProfitTracker can include a reimbursement while the item is still in transit.
The Returns module only shows FBA returns that Amazon physically received at the FBA warehouse. By default, it shows only units classified as unsellable.
Three points in time
The customer requests a return and may receive a reimbursement.
The item arrives at the FBA warehouse.
Amazon classifies it as sellable or unsellable.
Diagnosis
Step 1: Show sellable returns
Open the filter, activate Wiederverkaufbar eingestuft anzeigen and click Anwenden.
Step 2: Check statuses and filters
Open Noch nicht erhalten, In Bearbeitung, Abgeschlossen and Alle. Temporarily remove marketplace and date filters.
Step 3: Compare identifiers
Search by LPN, FNSKU, SKU and order number. One ASIN can include several returns.
Step 4: Check Amazon receipt
Confirm in Seller Central that Amazon recorded physical receipt at the FBA warehouse. Items still in transit do not appear in A1.
Step 5: Check the service provider
If a Prep Center handles returns, check the separate returns connection. A working purchase connection does not confirm the returns connection.
Step 6: Check overdue units
Use Nur überfällige Retouren anzeigen when Amazon has reported receipt but the unit has not reached you or your service provider.
Information for Support
If the return remains missing despite confirmed FBA receipt, send Support the LPN, FNSKU, marketplace, Amazon receipt date and visible A1 status. Do not share login details.
